Body recovered from Boyne

THE Boyne Fishermen Rescue and Recovery Service recovered the body of a woman believed to be in her twenties, from the River Boyne, on Monday 29th December last.
It is understood that the Service received a call from Navan Gardal on Monday at about 11.00 am to inform them that the young woman had been missing from the previous Sunday evening.
The Rescue service immediately launched their rescue boats, and commenced searching in the area of the Dunmoe Bridge. After searching for a number of hours, the Boyne Fishermens divers recovered the body of the dead woman near the Dunmoe Bridge, which is near to Slane.
