THE Boyne Fishermen's Rescue and Recovery Service (BFRRS) have recovered the body of Limerick woman Patricia Barron from the River Shannon in Limerick.
Ms Barron went missing from her home a number of weeks ago and the BFRRS were called in to assist with the search at the end of February following a request from the family.
A full search team from the service have been searching the river ever since and the dead woman's body was recovered from the water on Monday, March 23rd, shortly before 1pm.
A spokesperson for the group said members wished to extend their sympathy to the family and friends of Patricia Barron at this very sad time.
