Local group at Missing Person's launch

THE Boyne Fishermen's Rescue and Recovery Service (BFRRS) were invited to the official launch of National Missing Person's Helpline which took place recently at the Garda Club in Harcourt Street, Dublin.
The occasion was used to bring together a number of dignitaries and organisations with an involvement in the area of Missing Person's and Victim Support.
The Helpline co-operates with An Garda Siochana and community based organisations and works to ensure there is a national, coordinated approach to the location of missing persons, reducing the incidence and impact of missing persons and educating the broader community to the significance of the missing persons phenomena.
